Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:Jeremiah 32:17
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the highly-anticipated second film adaptation of C.S. Lewis' popular book series to hit the big screens, opens in theatres Friday, May 16. Our review of the film will be up later this weekend, but several other reviews by respected Christian sites have already been posted. Find out more about Prince Caspian at:
You've gotta love the Veggies! They've been around for years now, and they're still signing some of the best Christian music for kids out there. In this 2007 release, the Veggies take on 15 Christian hits from the past decade or so. Some of the tracks feature the original artists, but the Veggies have to add their own twist - Steven Curtis Chapman sings "Dive" while one of the French Peas intones "Ohhh - that's fantastic! Can I borrow your water wings?" Other songs covered on this CD include "Flood" (Jars of Clay). "I Can Only Imagine" (MercyMe), "Big House" (Audio Adrenaline), and tobyMac's "Made to Love" - my personal favorite. If you're looking for music that your kids can bounce along to in the car, but doesn't drive the accompanying adults crazy, this may be it! - Liz Carpenter
